MOUNTAIN PROGRAMME WITH SNOW ART
Founded by two-time Winter Olympian Marko Rudić
WHY JAHORINA?
Jahorina is more than a ski destination.
Hotels, restaurants, ski schools, lifts, equipment rental, transport, weather, capacity and thousands of customer decisions come together in one mountain economy.
That makes it a powerful environment for real-world learning.
Children can see the systems they are discussing in the morning operating around them every afternoon.
And during the Hub, children will have opportunities to ask some of those people directly how their businesses actually work.
OLYMPIC HERITAGE
Jahorina hosted the women’s alpine skiing events during the Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympics
DIFFERENT PARTS OF ONE SYSTEM
Poljice, Ogorjelica, Rajska dolina and Skočine create different access points, businesses and customer flows across the mountain.
BEYOND DAYTIME SKIING
Jahorina also offers night skiing and other winter activities, giving families flexibility beyond the Hub schedule

54 KM OF SKI SLOPES
A large interconnected mountain environment to observe and explore.

REAL BUSINESS. REAL QUESTIONS.
Before meeting them, children prepare their own questions. They might ask:

The Jahorina Hub does not stop at simulations.
During the programme, children will have short conversations with people working inside the mountain economy — business owners, operators or members of their teams.
Each conversation lasts approximately 30–60 minutes and connects directly to what children are exploring in the Hub.
How do you decide your prices?
What is your biggest cost?
What happens when there is not enough snow?
When are you busiest?
How many customers can you serve at once?
Afterwards, they return to their own business simulations and decide whether what they learned changes their thinking.
Learn the concept. Ask the people doing it. Then decide again.

MORNING
Thinking needs movement, too.
Children take ownership of a simulated mountain business.
It might be a ski school, hotel, restaurant, rental shop or another part of the resort economy.
They make decisions about prices, customers, resources and risk.
Then conditions change:

Weather shifts.
A competitor makes a move.
Costs rise.
Demand changes.

Children see what happens to their decisions — and decide what to do next.
What they learn from real businesses feeds back into the simulation. Children can challenge their assumptions, change their strategy and test a new decision.
Jahorina is designed around two complementary parts of a child’s day.
MORNING — WORLD IS MY SCHOOL
Finance & Business simulations, challenges, resort observations and conversations with people working inside the mountain economy.
AFTERNOON — SNOW ART
Skiing, snowboarding and mountain activities delivered with our ski partner, Snow Art.
The result is not a classroom programme followed by entertainment.
Children move between thinking and doing — between the decisions they explore in the morning and the mountain economy operating around them.
ONE HUB. TWO KINDS OF LEARNING.
MIND + BODY
Mens sana in corpore sano.
We believe children learn best when thinking, movement, challenge and experience are part of the same day

Learning does not end when the morning session finishes.
Movement, sport and time outdoors are part of a child’s development — whether that means skiing, snowboarding or simply being outside on the mountain.

Learn on an Olympic mountain with a team built by an Olympian.

Marko Rudić
Two-time Winter Olympian
Vancouver 2010 Sochi 2014
The Jahorina mountain programme is delivered in partnership with Snow Art Ski School, founded by Marko Rudić, a two-time Winter Olympian who represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014. Currently, Marko works as a trainer of Hong Kong's skiing representation.
Marko grew up skiing on Jahorina before competing internationally at the highest level.
Today, that experience shapes Snow Art’s approach to teaching children — professional, safety-focused and adapted to each child’s age and level.
OUR MOUNTAIN PARTNER
MORE THAN SKI LESSONS
Together with Snow Art, we are building the afternoon as a broader mountain experience — combining skiing with supervised transitions, snow play and other age-appropriate mountain activities where appropriate.
Final afternoon activities and timings will depend on snow conditions, group level and the agreed programme.

HOW THE HUB WORKS
Children join us five days a week, moving between focused business learning and life on the mountain.
The rhythm is intentional: think, question, observe, move.
Some days also include conversations with the people running Jahorina’s businesses — bringing real answers back into the children’s simulations.
MON - FRI
A day with two rhythms.
MORNING · WORLD IS MY SCHOOL

SMALL BY DESIGN
World Is My School Hubs are deliberately small.
Children have space to contribute, ask questions, test ideas and be known as individuals.
Ages 8-11
The core program is designed for this age group.
Children ages 6–7 are also welcome to apply.
Younger children will be considered individually, based on their confidence, independence and readiness to participate in the group.
No business knowledge needed
Curiosity matters more than previous experience.
Comfortable with drop-off
Children should be able to spend several hours in a supervised group without a parent present.
For curious children — and families looking for more than a ski holiday.
Pamporovo is designed for families who want their children to learn, move, make friends and become part of a small international community while spending meaningful time together in the mountains.
A built-in community
Spend three weeks alongside other worldschooling, homeschooling and internationally minded families — with time for friendships to grow naturally for both children and parents.
Time for parents, too
Time for parents to ski, work, relax or explore while children are engaged in the WIMS programme.
More than a shared stay
The Hub is designed to create connection without over-scheduling families. Join shared moments when you want them, while still having space to enjoy Pamporovo in your own way.

A ski area that works for different levels — and for families.
RELIABLE WINTER INFRASTRUCTURE
Around 90% of the ski area is supported by artificial snow systems, helping maintain more consistent conditions throughout the winter season.
Multiple ski centres help distribute access across the resort, rather than funnelling everyone through one single entry point.
THE RHODOPE MOUNTAINS
Pamporovo sits among the forested slopes of the Rhodopes, with the resort rising from around 1,500m to 1,926m at Snezhanka Peak.
It offers a mountain environment that feels substantial enough for experienced skiers, while remaining approachable for children and families.
The Rhodopes are often described in Bulgarian folklore as a mystical mountain — a landscape of ancient Thracian legends, deep forests and stories linked to Orpheus.
There is a sense here that the mountain carries memory: music, myth and village traditions woven into the landscape.
Set in Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains, Pamporovo combines a compact ski area, varied terrain and several access points across the resort.
With around 37 km of pistes, the mountain offers gentle learning terrain for beginners as well as longer red runs, steeper advanced pistes and dedicated terrain for more confident skiers and snowboarders.
GOOD FOR BEGINNERS
Wide, gentler runs, dedicated learning areas and a children’s Fun Zone make Pamporovo a comfortable place to start skiing and build confidence.
ROOM TO PROGRESS
Children and adults who already ski can move onto longer and more technical terrain, including advanced and expert-rated pistes around Snezhanka.
MORE THAN ONE WAY ONTO THE MOUNTAIN
Unlike resorts that depend heavily on a single gondola entry point, Pamporovo has several ski centres and lift access points, including Studenets, Malina and Stoykite.
That helps spread skiers across the mountain and reduces dependence on one single morning bottleneck.

Depending on weather and availability, families can explore snowshoe trails, snow tubing, husky-sled rides, cross-country skiing, horse riding and other winter activities around Pamporovo.
Beyond the resort, nearby Rhodope villages offer a different kind of experience — local food, crafts, folklore and traditions.
In Smilyan, families can discover the story of the famous Smilyan bean and traditional Rhodope crafts. Smolyan offers museums and cultural collections, while the wider mountain is filled with viewpoints, caves and places connected to the legends of Orpheus.
The Hub leaves afternoons flexible so families can choose how much of the region they want to discover.
