HOW THE HUB WORKS
Children join us five days a week, with a longer mountain days and shorter project and exploration days.
Mornings focus on finance, business and project-based learning. Afternoons move outdoors for skiing or snowboarding, mountain time and real-world observation around the resort.

Projects + Exploration
Finance + Business + Skiing
More flexible days for project work, reflection, local exploration and activities that connect learning with the destination.
A deeper learning block in the morning, followed by preparation for the mountain, transfer to the slopes and a packed lunch before a two-hour ski or snowboard session.
Children work on simulations, business challenges and team projects, then continue the day through sport and real-world observation around the resort.
SMALL BY DESIGN
We keep groups intentionally small so children can ask questions, take part in discussions and receive individual attention.

MORNING
Children learn through games, simulations and real decisions, not lectures.
They work with budgets, prices, currencies, supply and demand, risk and profit, then apply those ideas in a simulated ski-resort business.

AFTERNOON
In the afternoon, children move from the workshop to the mountain.
Ski or snowboard sessions build confidence, coordination, resilience and risk awareness, while the resort itself becomes part of the learning experience.
They also see the resort economy they discussed in the morning operating around them in real life.

MIND + BODY
At World Is My School, learning does not end when the morning session finishes. We believe movement, sport and exploration are an important part of a child’s development — whether families choose skiing, snowboarding or simply time outdoors together.
Mens sana in corpore sano - a healthy mind in a healthy body.
HOW CHILDREN LEARN
Negotiation skills
empowering children to confidently advocate for their ideas and achieve favorable outcomes in various situations.
Run your own ski-resort business.
Children take ownership of a simulated ski school, hotel, restaurant, lift or shop - and make real decisions about pricing, customers, resources and risk.
They learn by trying, adjusting and seeing what happens next.

Ages 8-11
The core program is designed for this age group.
Children ages 6–7 are also welcome to apply.
Younger children will be considered individually, based on their confidence, independence and readiness to participate in the group.
No business knowledge needed
Curiosity matters more than previous experience.
Ski level doesn’t define participation
Beginners and more experienced skiers can join, with ski groups organised by ability.
Comfortable with drop-off
Children should be able to spend several hours in a supervised group without a parent present.
For curious children — and families looking for more than a ski holiday.
Pamporovo is designed for families who want their children to learn, move, make friends and become part of a small international community while spending meaningful time together in the mountains.
A built-in community
Spend three weeks alongside other worldschooling, homeschooling and internationally minded families — with time for friendships to grow naturally for both children and parents.
Time for parents, too
While children are in the Hub, parents are free to work, ski, rest, explore the mountain or spend time with other families.
More than a shared stay
The Hub is designed to create connection without over-scheduling families. Join shared moments when you want them, while still having space to enjoy Pamporovo in your own way.
Choose how your family wants to experience the Hub.
Every family joins for a minimum of two weeks.
Choose the Finance & Business Hub for a shorter morning drop-off — or the Premium Hub for a longer supervised day that continues from learning into lunch, mountain transfer and skiing or snowboarding.
Want more time in Pamporovo? Add a third week to either option.

More than accommodation
Staying together is part of the Hub experience. Children have time to build friendships beyond the workshops, while parents can connect naturally over meals, skiing or relaxed evenings — without a schedule of forced group activities.
A ski area that works for different levels — and for families.
Set in Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains, Pamporovo combines a compact ski area, varied terrain and several access points across the resort.
With around 37 km of pistes, the mountain offers gentle learning terrain for beginners as well as longer red runs, steeper advanced pistes and dedicated terrain for more confident skiers and snowboarders.
GOOD FOR BEGINNERS
Wide, gentler runs, dedicated learning areas and a children’s Fun Zone make Pamporovo a comfortable place to start skiing and build confidence.
ROOM TO PROGRESS
Children and adults who already ski can move onto longer and more technical terrain, including advanced and expert-rated pistes around Snezhanka.
MORE THAN ONE WAY ONTO THE MOUNTAIN
Unlike resorts that depend heavily on a single gondola entry point, Pamporovo has several ski centres and lift access points, including Studenets, Malina and Stoykite.
That helps spread skiers across the mountain and reduces dependence on one single morning bottleneck.
RELIABLE WINTER INFRASTRUCTURE
Around 90% of the ski area is supported by artificial snow systems, helping maintain more consistent conditions throughout the winter season.
Multiple ski centres help distribute access across the resort, rather than funnelling everyone through one single entry point.
THE RHODOPE MOUNTAINS
Pamporovo sits among the forested slopes of the Rhodopes, with the resort rising from around 1,500m to 1,926m at Snezhanka Peak.
It offers a mountain environment that feels substantial enough for experienced skiers, while remaining approachable for children and families.
The Rhodopes are often described in Bulgarian folklore as a mystical mountain — a landscape of ancient Thracian legends, deep forests and stories linked to Orpheus.
There is a sense here that the mountain carries memory: music, myth and village traditions woven into the landscape.
BEYOND THE SLOPES
There is more to the Rhodopes than skiing.
Depending on weather and availability, families can explore snowshoe trails, snow tubing, husky-sled rides, cross-country skiing, horse riding and other winter activities around Pamporovo.
Beyond the resort, nearby Rhodope villages offer a different kind of experience — local food, crafts, folklore and traditions.
In Smilyan, families can discover the story of the famous Smilyan bean and traditional Rhodope crafts. Smolyan offers museums and cultural collections, while the wider mountain is filled with viewpoints, caves and places connected to the legends of Orpheus.
The Hub leaves afternoons flexible so families can choose how much of the region they want to discover.
